Valinhos, June 17, 2011 - Anhanguera Educacional Participações S.A. ("Company") hereby informs its shareholders and the market in general that, on June 16, 2011, the Distance Learning Department (“SEED”) of the Ministry of Education (“MEC”) forwarded to the Company’s subsidiary, Universidade Anhanguera Uniderp (“University”), the dispatch number 21/2001 from the Higher Education Regulation and Supervision Department dismissing the administrative process related to the Term of Adjustment (“Term”) for the University’s undergraduate distance learning programs.

The University has fully complied with all the deadlines and adjustments listed in the Term. The MEC conducted diligence visits to the University’s headquarters as well as to its learning centers. All learning centers were positively evaluated, with 56% being evaluated as “Good” or “Excellent”.

Due to the dismissal of the administrative process related to the Term, the University and its learning centers will be able to conduct undergraduate distance-learning recruiting processes without restrictions.

The University is committed to maintaining the pillars of its academic project, in particular the two on-site meetings per week and the Textbook Program, while continuing to strengthen its online distance learning platform and to introduce its Institutional Assessment Program to foster the continued improvements in the quality of its learning centers.

It is important to highlight that as the improvements listed in the Term have been verified, the MEC will proceed with the conclusion of the certification process of the University’s undergraduate distance-learning programs from which students have already graduated. With these certifications, the University will be able to resume the expansion of undergraduate course offerings to new learning centers, taking high-quality education to a larger number of students throughout Brazil.
