The criteria that led to the selection of Fertilizantes Heringer to get this seal were: correct destination of wastes; concern about rebuilding the permanent preservation area in the margins of the river in the region and production of seedlings.

The Três Lagoas unit of Fertilizantes Heringer highlights this important achievement by continuously searching for excellence in environmental management.

Maxifértil Fertilizantes Ltda is located in the city of Porto Alegre, state of Rio Grande do Sul, and its plant has a nominal productive capacity of 30,000 tons/month, similar to Fertilizantes Heringer’s production at its unit also located in the city of Porto Alegre, which operates in a rented plant and will be closed down, with its production transferred to the industrial unit just acquired.

(BM&FBovespa: FHER3) promoted together with Vale Fertilizantes an event including a workshop with Ph.D. Mr. Sen Hsiung Chien, one of the most important phosphate researchers in the world. Mr. Chien has been working for more than 43 years with phosphate rock research. He has already published more than 135 scientific studies and reviews, especially related to rock phosphate. Mr. Chien holds a postdoctoral degree from Iowa State University and, also, from the Washington University. We also had the opportunity to attend a workshop with Mr. Luis Prochnow’s, Director at IPNI - International Plant Nutrition Institute, graduated in Agronomic Engineering from FCA/UNESP - Botucatu in 1985, with a master degree (1992) and a Ph.D. degree (1996). Mr. Prochow was a Soil Fertility and Plant Nutrition professor at the São Paulo University from 1990 to 2007 and, also, served as researcher at the International Fertilizer Development Center in the USA.

The topics discussed by the speakers included the importance of the use of phosphate fertilizer, the adequate use of the phosphate rock, highlighting its agronomic efficiency comparing to the natural reactive phosphate Bayòvar. The Phosphate Rock Decision Support System was also presented at the event.

Approximately 230 people attended the event, including professors from several Brazilian universities, consultants, researchers and officers representing several companies and institutions. All these respected professionals from the Brazilian agronomic sector had the opportunity to exchange experiences and, as a result, provide more information to the topics under discussion.

Viana, Brazil, November 10, 2011 - Fertilizantes Heringer (Bovespa: FHER3) announces today its results for the third quarter of 2011 (3Q11) and nine first months of 2011 (9M11).

Period Highlights:

• Net revenue of R$1,445.7 million in 3Q11 up 44.5% from 3Q10 and of R$3,054.4 million in 9M11 up 39.7% from 9M10;
• Gross income of R$242.6 million in 3Q11 123.4% higher than in 3Q10 and of R$436.9 million in 9M11 for growth of 142.7% over 9M10;
• EBITDA amounted to R$161.5 million in 3Q11 for margin of 11.2% compared with 3.8% in 3Q10. In 9M11 EBITDA came to R$226.6 million for margin of 7.4% versus R$10.5 million and margin of 0.5% in 9M10;
  
• Net income in 3Q11 was R$9.8 million versus R$17.7 million in 3Q10 and R$19.6 million in 9M11 versus a loss of R$50.0 million in 9M10;
• Delivery volume grew 9.4% in 3Q11 and 10.0% in 9M11 from the same periods last year;
• The Specialty Products’ share of total sales volume stood at 36% and 37% in 3Q11 and 9M11 respectively;
• Client base expanded 17.9% in 3Q11 and 20.8% in 9M11 in comparison with the same periods of 2010;
• Substantial improvement in the current ratio from 0.84 in 3Q10 to 0.98 in 3Q11; and
• Federal tax credits of R$58.2 million in the quarter.

The extension and modernization of the industrial plant reaffirmed the commitment with both quality of products and services and region development

São Paulo, Brazil, October 10, 2011 - Fertilizantes Heringer S.A. (BM&FBovespa: FHER3), one of the pioneers in the production, sale and distribution of fertilizers and one of the three fertilizer companies in Brazil, inaugurated on Friday, October 7, the extension and modernization of the industrial plant in Viana, in the state of Espírito Santo. The investment of R$15 million, made between 2010 and 2011, resulted in an increase in the fertilizers production capacity from 300,000 tons to 400,000 tons, as well as in an increased storage potential from 60,000 tons to 75,000 tons.

The Governor of the state of Espírito Santo, Renato Casagrande, the State Secretary of Agriculture, Enio Bergoli, officers from the Heringer Group, entrepreneurs and other authorities also attended the event, which strengthened the market share of Fertilizantes Heringer in the states of Espírito Santo and Rio de Janeiro and, also, in the southern of Bahia state. “The investment reinforces Fertilizantes Heringer commitment with the quality of its products and services, enhancing the delivery of products to farmers, which have been clients of the Company for over 40 years”, said Heringer CEO Dalton Carlos Heringer, during the event.

“We continuously seek to improve our participation through a differentiated relationship with our clients, offering to the farmer in the state of Espírito Santo the best fertilizer, making use of the best technological tools currently available”, said the Company’s IRO Wilson Rio Mardonado. The unit in Viana currently counts on 282 employees, which will be increased by 70 new positions with the extension.

Besides the production of fertilizers using conventional formulas, Fertilizantes Heringer also has a specialty products line providing better nutritional benefits. Among these special products, FH Micro Total and FH Nitro Mais stand out, providing producers with better results.

Viana, September 29, 2011 - Fertilizantes Heringer S.A. possesses federal tax credits related to prepaid income tax and social contribution.

On April 9, 2009, the Company requested a tax rebate from the Federal Revenue Service (FRB), and since the request was not evaluated after one year, a writ of mandamus was filed in order to ensure the continuity of the process.

The Company obtained a favorable verdict, although not yet final and unappealable, and the FRB recognized expressly and definitively the Company’s right to receive the rebate. However, the federal government did not refund the amount, allegedly because Heringer needed to offset suspended tax liabilities.

Considering the suspension of the enforcement of all existing liabilities, a new writ of mandamus was filed, and on August 15, 2011, Heringer obtained a court decision, although not yet final and unappealable, affirming that it did not have to offset said liabilities.

However, on August 25, 2011, the federal government filed a motion for clarification. On September 5, 2011, a new decision was issued giving the FRB 72 hours to refund said amount.

The federal government then filed a provisional remedy at the Regional Federal Appellate Court (RFC), suspending the writ of mandamus decision until the suit was made final and unappealable. Subsequently, the Company appealed and partially reversed the decision in order to obtain a ruling for the partial release of the amount. As a result, Heringer received R$58 million referring to the undisputed amount, i.e. the amount deducted from the suspended tax liabilities.

Currently, the Company is waiting for a new evaluation by the RFC regarding the remaining amount.

Project is held every Friday in the Alexandra district of Paranaguá to improve the population’s well-being

São Paulo, May 20, 2011 - Fertilizantes Heringer SA (BM&FBovespa: FHER3) a pioneer in the production, sale and distribution of fertilizers and one of the three largest fertilizer producers in Brazil, is a participant in the cultural project “Heringer and Alexandra, together we can do much more,” drawing on support from the movement "Alexandra on the Path to Development" and the Municipal Council of Paranaguá, which involves an event held each week in the city‘s Alexandra district. In addition to Fertilizantes Heringer, a number of other companies operating in the region also participate. Carlos Madia Produções is responsible for the artistic coordination and production.

The project, which was launched in October 2010, receives important support from the local population and promotes an exchange between the city‘s residents and artists, and also brings a number of attractions from other cities and states. The project also sponsors photography expositions, a mobile library, caricatures, face painting, hammocks for resting and a handicrafts fair.

The project helps support local commerce by allowing people to sell their products and in turn increase their income. The local administration of the Alexandra district provides the entire structure of booths to enable residents to sell their products. Through this partnership, the project has been making great strides and improving the well-being of the population.

Held every Friday from 6:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. at the Conceição Zella square in the Alexandra district of Paranaguá, Paraná, the project works to transform the square into an area full of cultural, leisure and entertainment activities for the local population.

São Paulo, May 20, 2011 - Fertilizantes Heringer S.A. (BM&FBovespa: FHER3), a pioneer in the production, sale and distribution of fertilizers and one of the three largest fertilizer companies in Brazil, aware of the importance of livestock production to the state of Tocantins, provided support to the State Vaccination Campaign against hoof-and-mouth disease.

The event was held on May 1, 2011, at the Primavera Farm located in Lagoa da Confusão, Tocantins, and was attended by the state‘s governor, Mr. José Wilson Siqueira Campos, the founder and chairman of the board of directors of Fertilizantes Heringer, Mr. Dalton Dias Heringer, the senator and chairwoman of the National Agriculture Confederation, Ms. Kátia Abreu, the state secretary of agriculture, Mr. Jaime Café de Sá, as well as by other state and municipal authorities. A total of 560 livestock producers and technicians were also present at the event.

Brazil is the largest exporter of beef, making vaccination against hoof-and-mouth disease fundamental for both the state and the country, given that animal health is always a key factor for beef exports.

During the event, technicians from Fertilizantes Heringer S/A gave a tour of the Primavera Farm, where livestock producers were able to visit pasture areas cultivated using cutting-edge technology.

The Company has been investing regularly in the development of new technologies to intensify the use of pastures at its Pasture Management and Fertilization Center (CEMAP) located in Viana, Espírito Santo. The center conducts a number of experiments on new products and sponsors lectures and training programs for livestock producers, professionals and students in the field, among others, aiming to raise awareness on the importance of adequate livestock management.

Fertilizantes Heringer S.A. (BM&FBovespa: FHER3), a pioneer in the production, sale and distribution of fertilizers and one of the three largest fertilizer companies in Brazil, provided the use of its facilities at the Agribusiness Research Center (CEAGRO) located in Vila Velha, Espírito Santo for the launch of the State Vaccination Campaign against hoof-and-mouth disease in the state of Espírito Santo. The event was attended by Governor Renato Casagrande, the state‘s agriculture and livestock secretary Ênio Bergoli and other government authorities, rural leaders and livestock producers in the state. The state of Espírito Santo has been free of the disease for the last 15 years. The event was held on May 3, 2011, and was attended by 200 people.

The certificate granted by the São Paulo State Environmental Secretariat is reserved for companies that excel in sustainable initiatives

Fertilizantes Heringer S.A. (BM&FBovespa: FHER3) received the Parceria Verdeazul certificate granted by the São Paulo State Environmental Secretariat. The document recognizes the sustainable incentives promoted by the company, which will promote the planting of trees in urban areas and the recovery of riparian forest areas in the city of Ourinhos, São Paulo. Heringer will provide fertilizers to the municipal forest reserve for the production of tree seedlings, which will be used to plant trees in locations in the city that lack a diversity of tree species.

The certificate, which was awarded in the first quarter of 2011, is granted to private companies or individuals who form partnerships with the state or municipal governments that benefit the environment.

During the event, the possibility was discussed of Heringer participating in the Urban Tree Planting Program, which was implemented by the municipal government and aims to plant one thousand adult trees along the city’s main streets. The project calls for replacing dying trees by species better suited to the locations in order to ensure the tree population in the city of Ourinhos remains stable.

On the night of November 25, Espaço Golf in Ribeirão Preto hosted yet another grand awards ceremony organized by the Visão da Agroindústria magazine, in which the leading mills, distilleries, companies and personalities from Brazil’s sugar and ethanol sector were honored.

With the participation of more than 300 of the country’s top executives, the Visão Awards, already one of the most important awards events in the sector, are known for honoring the winning companies’ executive boards and their partners, thus adding to the event’s importance and, especially, of those honored at the sector’s greatest business summit.

Winning companies are chosen based on a survey by AR Empreendimentos under the supervision of the Study Group on the Industrial Management of the Sugar and Ethanol Sector (GEGIS), in which more than 120 mills are associates.

The pro-citizenship organization Instituto Pró-Cidadania held an event on October 27, 2010 to award companies for their initiatives in the area of Social Responsibility involving the inclusion of persons with disabilities in the labor market and society. This was the first award ceremony held by the NGO, which included 7 categories and the participation of both Brazilian and international companies.

Fertilizantes Heringer received the Valuing Diversity Award for executing the complete inclusion process for persons with disabilities, including the training of human resources, managers and other employees as well as the hiring and professional development processes.

3- The Company is continuing to take all the necessary measures to ensure that the unit returns to normal operations as soon as possible.

With regard to the preliminary injunction issued by the federal courts, which orders the suspension of activities at the plant of Fertilizantes Heringer S.A. located in Paranaguá, Paraná, the Company hereby informs that:

1- The Paranaguá production unit is one of the Company’s 16 production units and complies with environmental legislation and holds all licenses and permits required to operate.

2- The annual production of the Paranaguá unit is approximately 250,000 metric tons of single super phosphate (SSP) and 200,000 metric tons of sulfuric acid, which currently represents approximately 40% of our SSP needs, or 6% of our total fertilizer raw material consumption. Soybean is the crop that most requires this fertilizer.

3- Together with the mixing operations, Heringer’s activities at the Paranaguá plant accounted for 7.7% of the company’s annual gross revenue in 2009.

4- The Company informs that it is making all possible efforts to implement the measures required to have the injunction lifted as soon as possible.

Six-month agreement will give national exposure to the company’s brand

Since November 21, 2009, during programming breaks viewers of the morning television program Globo Rural have had an opportunity to watch advertising slots featuring the Fertilizantes Heringer brand.

Each month ten 30-second commercials and one daily 5-second spots will be aired. The program, which in 2010 is commemorating its 30th anniversary, is aired from Monday to Friday from 6:10 a.m. to 6:25 a.m. (Brasília time).

“We are pleased to associate our brand with Globo Rural, a program that enjoys credibility with Brazil’s rural producers and is a solid reference in the market. We expect these TV commercials to take our brand to viewers across Brazil who have a special interest in our market,” said Aruay Goldschmidt, the agricultural engineer and technical manager at Fertilizantes Heringer.

Agribusiness Study Center, in Vilha Velha (ES) holds series of sector meetings and conferences

São Paulo, December 16, 2009 – One of the pillars on which Fertilizantes Heringer‘s operational excellence is based is its structure for studying and developing new agricultural techniques, which comprises three research centers: Cemap (Pasture Management and Fertilization Center, located in Viana, Espírito Santo), Cepec (Coffee Research Center, in Martins Soares, Minas Gerais) and Ceagro (Agribusiness Study Center, in Vila Velha, Espírito Santo).

Ceagro, which has been hosting events since 2004, has had a busy calendar of conferences and meetings in recent months, involving professionals (directors, specialists and businessmen) from various agribusiness segments.

On October 24, Ceagro was the venue for the fourth and last day of the “Ist Espírito Santo Beef Cattle Breeding Congress”, an event organized by the ACCN (Espírito Santo Nelori Cattle Breeders" Association) which was attended by around 300 people, including cattle breeders, producers, academics and specialists linked to the segment. The idea behind the initiative was to offer the visitors a chance to take part in a meeting on „Intensive Pasture-based Meat Production". The Chairman of the Company‘s Board of Directors, Dalton Dias Heringer welcomed the participants and opened the event by recounting the history of Fertilizantes Heringer, its current position in the fertilizer market and its support for cattle breeding in Espírito Santo.

November was another busy month at Ceagro. On the 14th, Dalton Dias Heringer hosted a lunch for Fausto Costa, director of Garoto, and Manoel Ceciliano, dean of the UVV (Vila Velha University Center). Also present were the president of the ACCN, Nabih Amin El Aouar, among others. After lunch, the guests were give a tour of Fazenda Paraíso‘s cattle breeding installations.

On November 18, Incaper (Espírito Santo Research and Extension Institute) hosted a meeting for Conilon coffee specialists to disclose the achievements of 2009 and the prospects for 2010, attended by eight regional directors, 14 researchers and 43 extensionists, representing 65 municipalities in Espírito Santo. Incaper‘s technical director, Ricardo Silva Baptista and researcher Romário Gava Ferrão, responsible for the Conilon Coffee Genetic Improvement Program, conducted the meeting. The lunch was also attended by Evair Vieira de Melo, Incaper‘s president.

Rodrigo Rezende receives “O Equilibrista” award for his career achievements

São Paulo, November 17, 2009 – Rodrigo Bortolini Rezende, the chief financial officer of Fertilizantes Heringer S.A., was recognized by the “Financial Executive of the Year” award sponsored by the Brazilian Institute of Financial Executives - Campinas Division (IBEF-Campinas).

The award is presented annually to the financial executive best recognized for his or her performance and ethical behavior, which also increases the recognition and growth opportunities for the organizations where they work. Rezende received the “O Equilibrista” award at a ceremony held on November 13 at the Equestrian Club in Campinas.

To be recognized by the award, the IBEF member must receive the most votes cast directly by peers and have an outstanding professional and personal track record. Because of these characteristics, the “O Equilibrista” award is considered by financial executives as one of the most important recognitions in the industry.

“I was very honored and pleased to receive this award given by an institution with such a high level of credibility as IBEF-Campinas. And I would like extend this recognition to the entire executive team at Heringer,” said Rezende.

In its third quarter earnings release, Heringer reported net income in the nine months to September 209 of R$ 94.7 million, which represents an increase of 283.4% on the same period a year earlier.

Growth of 283.4% over 9M08

São Paulo, November 12, 2009 - Fertilizantes Heringer (BM&F Bovespa: FHER3), a pioneer in the production, sale and distribution of fertilizers and one of the three largest fertilizer companies in Brazil, closed the first nine months of 2009 with net income of R$94.7 million, 283.4% up on the R$24.7 million recorded in 9M08. In the third quarter, Heringer posted net income of R$29.7 million, a substantial improvement over the R$72.2 million loss reported in the same period last year.

EBITDA totaled R$53.8 million in 3Q09, with a margin of 5.4%, considerably higher than the negative R$4.6 million recorded in 1H09. Accordingly, year-to-date EBITDA stood at R$49.2 million.

Third-quarter sales volume came to 1.2 million metric tons, versus 913,300 metric tons in the same period last year, an increase of 35.8%. In the first nine months, sales volume amounted to 2.5 million metric tons, 5.2% more than in 9M08.

Heringer’s sales growth outpaced overall market growth – in the third quarter, the Brazilian fertilizer market grew by 16%; in year-to-date terms, however, it shrank by 11.3%.

“Once again, our sales were well diversified in terms of crops in all the regions where we operate,” declared Wilson Mardonado, Heringer’s Controller and Investor Relations Officer. “The decline in fertilizer prices in 2009, together with the substantial expansion of the client base, contributed to our sales growth,” added Mardonado.

In the first nine months, Heringer registered a substantial year-on-year upturn in the sale of fertilizers for soybean (14.6%) and coffee (43.3%). According to Mardonado, a diversified product range geared towards a wide variety of crops, a focus on retail and the fact that more than 80% of sales are direct to final consumers are some of the pillars supporting the company’s growth.

“Our strategy of covering several crops helps optimize results when there is growth and minimizes losses in crops or regions facing isolated problems,” he concluded.

Specialty Products

Heringer’s specialty product line, whose differentiated agronomic characteristics are  focused on meeting the specific nutritional needs of different crops for the purpose of increasing quality and productivity, increased their share of total sales from 23%, in 3Q08, to 29%. Around 45% of the Company’s total clients (9,000) acquired this type of product in 3Q09.

In terms of sales volume, the Company sold 364,000 metric tons of specialty products in 3Q09, 70.1% up on the 214,000 metric tons recorded in the same period last year.

Capital Market

Listed in the Novo Mercado trading segment of the BM&F Bovespa, Heringer’s shares (FHER3) appreciated by 163% between January and October. Daily traded volume averaged R$1.9 million in the period.

São Paulo, October 21, 2009 - Fertilizantes Heringer SA (Bovespa: FHER3), a pioneer in the production, sale and distribution of fertilizers and one of Brazil’s three largest fertilizer companies, figures among the select group of the 95 best companies for shareholders in 2009, according to the ranking sponsored by the magazine Capital Aberto and Stern Stewart do Brasil, a consulting firm that owns the brand EVA (economic value added).

In its fourth edition, the ranking aims to recognize companies that, during the period analyzed (from June 2008 to June 2009), excelled in relation to peers in five aspects of particular importance to shareholders: liquidity, financial results, stock price appreciation, corporate governance and sustainability. In addition, the company’s stock must have been one of the 100 most liquid stocks in the 12 months prior to the date of the study, which is a prerequisite for being evaluated in the ranking.

The gain of 210% in Heringer’s stock price over the past ten months contributed to Heringer being included in the publication’s ranking. According to Wilson Mardonado, Heringer’s Controller and Investor Relations Officer, “the recovery of the industry and the significant improvement in the company’s financial results played a fundamental role in its performance in the ranking.”

Sales of specialty products grow 12.9% in the quarter to account for 31% of shipment volume

São Paulo, August 13, 2009 - Fertilizantes Heringer S.A. (Bovespa: FHER3), a pioneer in the production, sale and distribution of fertilizers and one of the three largest fertilizer companies in Brazil, recorded net income of R$ 60.1 million in the second quarter of 2009. In the first six months of 2009, net income came to R$ 64.9 million.

Heringer’s net revenue in the second quarter totaled R$ 582.3 million, while shipments stood at 627.4 thousand metric tons. In the first six months, net revenue was R$ 1,222.8 million, while shipments totaled 1,299.7 thousand metric tons.

Meanwhile, sales volume of specialty products increased by 12.9% in the second quarter and by 9.7% in the first six months of the year. The share of specialty products in the Company’s total sales stood at 31% and 26% in the second quarter and first half, respectively.

The Company also registered expansion in its client base of 21.9% between April and June 2009. In the last 12 months, the client base totaled 38,700, supporting the increase in the Company’s market share.

Outlook for second half of year

Wilson Mardonado, Controller and Investor Relations Officer at Heringer, expects the fertilizer industry to stage a recovery in 2009. “We project total shipment volume in Brazil of 23 million metric tons this year, as well as a return to historical seasonality, with approximately 35% of sales occurring in the first half of the year and 65% in the second half. A destocking trend also occurred, reflecting the lower imports and local output in the first half.”

According to Mardonado, in the second half of the year, volatility in raw material prices should begin to decline to the levels prior to August 2008. He also believes that current price levels bode well for agribusiness in 2009, since they provide a better exchange ratio for fertilizers versus agricultural products.

For the capital markets, Mardonado highlighted the return of foreign investors to the stock market in the post-crisis scenario. Heringer stock registered a year-to-date gain of 186.8% through July 31, 2009, outperforming the Ibovespa, the benchmark index of the BM&FBOVESPA, which increased by 45.8% in the same period. “The appreciation in the stock price was due to the return of foreign capital, combined with the stronger Brazilian economy and the improved outlook for Brazilian agribusiness this year," said Mardonado.

Sales volume of specialty products grows 5% to 147,000 metric tons

São Paulo, April 23, 2009 – Fertilizantes Heringer (Bovespa: FHER3), a pioneer in the production, sale and distribution of fertilizers and one of the three largest fertilizer companies in Brazil, closed the first quarter of 2009 with net income of R$4.9 million. This figure represents an important recovery from the fourth quarter of last year, when the Company recorded a net loss of R$277.8 million.

Heringer recorded gross sales revenue of R$653.9 million in the first quarter of 2009, down 2.99% from the same quarter a year earlier, while net revenue fell 3.1% to R$640.5 million, from R$660.6 million in 1Q08.

However, the slight dip in revenue was well below the industry average. Brazil‘s fertilizer market contracted by 23.7% in the first quarter compared with the same period of 2008. From January to March this year, the country‘s fertilizer industry delivered 4.1 million metric tons of fertilizers, compared with 5.4 million metric tons in the same period a year ago.

“The agribusiness industry was also impacted by the effects from the turbulence in the world economy, but we believe 2009 will be marked by economic recovery. We are working with the expectation of slight expansion in Brazil‘s fertilizer market to the delivery of around 23 million metric tons,” said Wilson Mardonado, Heringer‘s Controller and Investor Relations Officer.

Sales continue to be impacted by the adverse scenario. However, while Heringer recorded a drop of 11.2% in delivery volumes in the first quarter of 2009 to 672,300 metric tons, Brazil‘s fertilizer market contracted by 23.7%, with the delivery of 4.1 million metric tons. As a result, Heringer’s market share expanded from 13.9% in 1Q08 to 16.2% in 1Q09. The Company‘s client base also increased, by 10.6% to a total of 14,956 clients in the period.

Company ends year with 18.4% market share and 35,306 active clients

São Paulo, March 12, 2009 – Fertilizantes Heringer (Bovespa: FHER3), a pioneer in the production, sale and distribution of fertilizers and one of the three largest fertilizer companies in Brazil, registered growth of 56.6% in gross revenue in the whole of 2008, to R$3.6 billion. In the last quarter of the year, gross revenue grew to R$935.3 million, up 12.2% on the same quarter a year earlier.

Heringer maintained sales diversified among the main crops produced in Brazil, including soybean, corn, sugarcane and coffee. The Company also expanded its client base, which grew by 13.7% to 35,306 active clients in 2008, from 31,057 in 2007. Meanwhile, the strategy of drawing on a broad network of representatives, with a focus on direct sales to the final consumer, has proven successful. Heringer ended the fourth quarter with an 18.4% slice of Brazil‘s fertilizer market, expanding 3.2 percentage points from the market share of 15.2% at the close of the same quarter of 2007.
