Banco do Estado do Rio Grande do Sul S.A. (Banrisul), pursuant to the Law No. 6404 of December 15, 1976, as amended, and to the Instruction No. 358 of January 03, 02 issued by the Brazilian Securities and Exchange Commission ("CVM"), as amended, hereby informs that its managers chose to discontinue the guidance release of future performance for the year 2020, released through Material Fact on February 11, 2020, considering the changes occurred in the social and macroeconomic environment, as well as the risks and uncertainties related to the evolution of COVID19 pandemic and its consequences.

Banrisul will keep shareholders and the market in general informed of further relevant information related to this event.
