The Orcopampa mine is located in the province of Castilla in the department of Arequipa, approximately 1,350 kilometers southeast of the city of Lima at an altitude of between 3,800 and 4,500 meters above sea level.
Access is by a 192-kilometer unpaved public road, which connects to the Pan American highway, and by airstrip.
