NOTICE TO THE MARKET
Termination of the First Stock Buyback Program

Estácio Participações S.A. (Bovespa: ESTC3; Bloomberg: ESTC3.BZ; Reuters: ESTC3.SA) (“Company” or “Estácio”) announces to shareholders and the general market the termination of its stock buyback program (“program”) approved on May 12, 2010, in view of the expiration of the maximum period for this program.

Fifty-nine thousand (59,000) common shares were acquired under the program, which compose the Company‘s entire treasury stock.

These shares correspond to 0.07% of the Company‘s capital stock and are being held among the assets of Estácio, and may subsequently be cancelled, sold or used to meet any exercise of options under the scope of the Company‘s stock option plan.
