NOTICE TO THE MARKET
Alliance Bernstein L.P.´s Interest in Shares

Pursuant to Article 12, Paragraph 4 of CVM Instruction 358 dated January 3, 2002, as amended by CVM Instruction 449 dated March 16, 2007, Estácio Participações S.A. (“Estácio” or the “Company”) announces that the Company received from the shareholder, Alliance Bernstein L.P. and its affiliated AXA Investment Managers (“Alliance”), a communication informing that, on March 1st, 2012, Alliance held 4,246,400 (four million, two hundred and forty six thousand and four hundred) ordinary shares issued by the Company, corresponding to 5.16% (five point sixteen percent) of its total capital.
