FUNDOTEC I was one of the first venture capital funds formed in Brazil. The Fund was created in June 2001 in accordance with CVM Regulation 209, with a mandate to invest in early stage and growth stage technology companies for a period of ten years.
In addition to DFJ FIR, FUNDOTEC I includes investors such as the IADB, SEBRAE and Sumitomo Corporation, as well as other private investors.
