AccionaRSE
It’s a community of socially responsible companies in Sinaloa. It is largely integrated by companies from the agricultural, housing construction and service sectors, which as a group are protecting education, as well as being alert and prepared for any environmental or social factors that may have an impact on the local economy. Furthermore, the community looks to share experiences of social responsibility and implement strategies to contribute to the execution of best practices and the transferring to other companies and institutions, generating more prosperity for all who are involved.
Community Organization
The Organization and Participation Communitarian Program, is in charge to organize the community in every affordable entry level development by a Neighbors’’ committee, the has the purpose to elevate the quality of live of the community by actions that prevent and solve problems inside their development, and finally to promote all the human development activities for their neighbors and their families.

HOMEX High school

Homex among with the Instituto Nacional para la Educación para los Adultos (INEA) offers studies of literacy programs, elementary school, junior high and high school to our employees on site as well as to our clients and the suppliers’ employees of our housing projects. |

Educational Counseling: “Building Lives” Homex, together with the Consultancy for Education and Total Quality (COECTO) and link with the Community (ENLACE), has developed educational projects, evaluated the performance and potential of 13 public schools around Homex developments in Mexico to establish actions and strategies to push forward leadership and education in each institution through teachers training, headmasters and parents in a variety of subjects. |

Building Communitarian Centers and Mano Amiga Schools Within its commitment with the community, Homex together with INEA, builds and equips communitarian centers inside the Homex developments, so they can have a study area for the community where different accessible courses and classes can be teach for the community. |

In the other way, Homex has made a commitment with the Altius Foundation and the Mano Amiga Schools to generate greater education among our employees’ children. Homex builds part of the construction and Altius administrates the centers, the development and maintenance of high standards of human spiritual training. |

Homex promotes the participation of youth in Homex communities in formative activities, through sports habit to impel the familiar development, by creating the Homex Fut Soccer League and parks. |
Homex goes green

Homex implements environmental programs, such as planting at least one tree per house we build, chilling Wells and plants for water treatment, eliminating the use of wood in the construction processes and using insulation finishing’s to save energy. |

Im Joa: Build your own home
In order to promote development and self-improvement in poor communities, Homex launched the Im Joa program, which means “my house” in the Mayan Yoreme dialect. The program is centered on families in rural and urban areas who in some way are marginalized from society, living in substandard conditions, as homes are built with cardboard, plastic or wood. Homex contributes to levels within the program:

New Construction Process: Metal Pointing System
Metal Pointing System is used in the construction of aluminum moulds that support beams and scaffolding, and offer greater speed in assembly, greater precision in leveling, reductions in cost and savings in logging, thus contributing to the ecology of the area.
