IR Global Rankings launches Benchmark Study for Financial Disclosure

São Paulo, August 8, 2013 - IR Global Rankings (IRGR), the ranking system for Investor Relations websites, online annual reports, best corporate governance practices and financial disclosure procedures, hereby announces the launch of its Benchmark Study of Financial Disclosure. The study analyzes the way in which companies utilize their IR websites to release their results, operating information, income statements, balance sheets, cash flow and teleconferences.
According to IR Global Rankings Executive Officer Carolina Bianchi, "in addition to offering a detailed survey of the highlights of the various actions taken to release results, another goal of the study is to encourage an overall improvement in the Investor Relations area, through improvements to companies’ strategies when communicating financial information to analysts and investors."
Companies may still apply for the 2013 IR Global Rankings. Registration runs until August 19 and the results of the evaluations will be released during the IR Global Rankings awards ceremony, which will take place in November 2013, in London. Recognition will be given to the top 5 companies in each category. The highlight of this year is the new award: TOP CFO/IRO.
