Kroton Educacional receives award for the most improved investor relations services in the
2011 IR Magazine Brazil Awards
Kroton Educacional S.A. (“Company”) - (BM&FBovespa: KROT11) - hereby informs its shareholders and the market in general that it was elected the “COMPANY WITH MOST IMPROVED INVESTOR RELATIONS PRACTICES” among those firms with a market cap of up to R$3 billion at an award ceremony held on July 11, 2011 in São Paulo.
The IR Magazine Brazil Awards recognize excellence in shareholder communications and investor relations practices in Brazil and are the result of an independent survey conducted by the Brazilian Economics Institute of the Getúlio Vargas Foundation (FGV), commissioned by IR Magazine, one of the world’s leading investor relations publications. The survey included opinions from buy-side and sell-side analysts, as well as portfolio managers, in Brazil and abroad.
According to Kroton’s CEO, Rodrigo Galindo, “this award is recognition for the Company’s efforts to build even stronger ties with the financial community, always prioritizing transparency and the best investor relations practices.”
Kroton also received an important honorable mention in the “BEST MEETING WITH COMMUNITY OF INVESTMENT ANALYSTS” category among those companies with a market cap of up to R$3 billion.
