  • São Carlos is a pioneer in sustainable projects in Brazil and is committed to its pursuit of excellence in the quality of services provided to its customers, ensuring greater operational efficiency and minimal environmental impact.

  • The Rio Negro Administrative Center, in Alphaville, received the LEED O+M SILVER certification in 2011, under São Carlos’ management. This was one of the first projects to receive the sustainability seal in the region, thus ensuring its occupants optimal use of water resources and greater energy efficiency when compared to similar projects.

  • Candelária 62 was the first project in Rio de Janeiro to receive the QUALIVERDE sustainability certification, created by the Municipal Government of Rio de Janeiro. After an extensive retrofit, Candelária 62 now has a new and modern central air conditioning system, new elevators, new high-performance soundproof windows, a new and efficient lighting system with LED lamps, and a new sewage treatment and rainwater harvesting system. The Candelária 62 operation currently uses only reclaimed water, which makes this project highly efficient and sustainable.

  • In 2013, the City Tower Condominium received a LEED certification in the Existing Buildings (EB) category, currently designated LEED O+M (Operation+Maintenance), and became the first multi-user building in Rio de Janeiro to receive the LEED O+M GOLD certification. Investments to make the project more efficient and sustainable included the replacement of conventional lighting with LED lamps, rainwater harvesting, the installation of a green roof, and the implementation of individual water and electricity meters in the private units.

  • In 2014, the company received LEED® E&B Silver certification for the Corporate Plaza building in São Paulo. The alterations to the property included renovation of the air conditioning system, general maintenance of air conditioning infiltrations and efficiency; selective waste collection; and the use of personal mugs instead of disposable cups.

  • The Eldorado Business Tower project, built by Gafisa in partnership with São Carlos, was the first corporate building to receive the LEED Core&Shell certification in the Platinum category in Latin America. This project, which was a pioneer in the use of technologies to increase efficiency and optimize resources, such as a distributed central air conditioning system and a modern elevator system able to regenerate the energy used to break, is still one of the most efficient projects in Brazil, even 10 years after its construction.

  • Torre A of EZ Towers is the first corporate multi-user building in Latin America to receive the LEED O+M Platinum certification. In order to receive the LEED O+M seal, Torre A of EZ Towers was assessed under several sustainability aspects, such as water and energy use efficiency, internal environment quality, operational innovation, and waste generation and recycling, among others, receiving a score of 0 to 110. The highest category under this seal is "Platinum", which requires a score equal to or higher than 80. In addition to the LEED O+M Platinum seal, Torre A of EZ Towers also received the LEED CORE&SHELL Gold certification and the Guiaderodas seal, which is granted to properties with a high level of accessibility.

  • In 2015, the company was awarded its 6th sustainability seal with the LEED® Core & Shell Version 3 Gold Level certification of Ed. Jardim Europa. The improvements include rainwater harvesting with 100% reduction of the consumption of water for irrigation; reuse of the existing structural elements with a 91.4% reduction of the need for demolition.

  • Venezuela 43 was the first project to be delivered in the port region of Rio de Janeiro, in 2013, already with the LEED Core&Shell GOLD certification. This project has an efficient and modern lighting system, rainwater harvesting for reuse, bicycle parking, green spaces and a roof garden. In addition, during the construction, strict procedures to control pollution, manage waste and optimize resources were adopted.
