Notice to the Market

Minerva S.A. ("Minerva" or "Company"), the South American leader in the export of fresh beef and cattle byproducts, which also operates processed foods segment, hereby informs its shareholders and the market in general that Japan, the third largest beef importer according to the USDA, has reopened its market for fresh beef imports from Uruguay.

Minerva, the second largest beef producer in Uruguay, with a daily slaughtering capacity of 3,200 head, had three of its slaughtering plants certified to export to this Asian country.

The Company reiterates its commitment to keeping its shareholders and the market in general informed of developments regarding this and any other matters of interest to the market.
